PurpleArmy Tailgating

The PurpleArmy  invites all PurpleArmy  soldiers and Viking loyalists to tailgate prior to Viking home games for fun and camaraderie .  

Note: due to increased Special Forces activities and Global Recon assignments PurpleArmy Command Central will see limited tailgate action this season.  However, will continue the battle via covert (PurpleArmy web-site) communications and tactical strikes tailgating gameday:

-- Non ticket holders come join in the Tailgate Fun with the PurpleArmy. You too can enjoy game day activities with the PurpleArmy Troops. 

The dome is only half of the fun with pre-dome tailgating a strong Viking ritual that we would like you to experience. There are plenty of local pubs/establishments that televise the game with a contingent of tailgating enthusiasts that watch the game from a warm refreshment abound seat who also do not possess tickets. 

Due to renewed Viking fan interest with the changing of the guard  season ticket holders hold most of the game-day tickets.  Not much left for other true Viking loyalists (like yourselves). Therefore, we strongly encourage you to make a weekend or day of it and come and enjoy tailgating with other Viking fans.  See you at the game!!!!

Note: there are always tickets available at haggled prices around the detachment (unsolicited and unrelated to the PurpleArmy) that can be picked up by unauthorized ticket peddlers

Tailgating Activity Format:

1. "T" minus 4+30 hours - PURPLEARMY Officers convene for setup (entrance of the 10th Ave S. and S. 2nd St tailgate lot)

2. "T" minus 3+30 hours - Ceremonial start with Viking and Purple Army Battle Hymns

3. "T" minus 3+00 to 1+00 hours - Grill, strategy session, eat, Tactics session, refreshments consumed, Logistics session

4. "T" minus 1+00 hours - Preacher

5. "T" minus 0+30 hours - To the dome

6. Zero hour - Watch the Vikings Destroy opponent

7. T plus end of game - Back to parking lot--- T plus fun meter pegged - Game analysis
